Goodbye Kindergarteners! Hello First Graders!

From all the hard work of the students, teachers, staff and parents we come to a special day. Graduation day will be May 22nd at Nob Hill Early Childhood Center for the class of 2025! Here is the schedule of graduation times:

       8:30 Giraffe and Mouse classes
       10:00 Elephant and Puppy classes
       11:30 Bear and Ladybug classes
       1:30 Lion, Frog and Pony classes


From all the members of the Nob Hill PAC, Congratulations Buzzy Bees! You did it! And we will see you next year as Wee Warriors!

Kindergarten Registration / Child Find Screening for Ruidoso - May 7

Kindergarten / Headstart registration and the Child Find Screening will take place at the Ruidoso Convention Center, May 7, 2013 from 11am to 2pm.

Children who are birth through five years of age are invited to a screening for development, vision, hearing, dental, immunizations and nutrition.

Kindergarten registration for children who will be five before Sept. 1, 2013: birth certificate, immunization records

Head Start registration: birth certificate, immunization record, last 12 months of income, Medicaid or insurance cards.

All other children: immunization record

Child Find screenings are conducted to identify students who might be in need of early intervention services. Comprehensive screenings provide valuable information to our school and families regarding the developmental needs of children. Free developmental screenings are provided to help locate, identify, and evaluate children with developmental delays or disabilities.

Apples for the Students

Parents of Nob Hill Students!

Educational technology changes daily! That's why we are taking part in the Lawrence Brothers Apples for the Students program that will help us earn needed educational awards without dipping into tight school budgets.

Thanks to the Lawrence Brothers Apples for the Students program, we can receive computers, software, sporting goods, audio-visual aids, science items, books and other teaching tools, FREE in exchange for Lawrence Brothers register receipts.

Receipts dated between September 1st and ending March 30th are valid.

When you shop at Lawrence Brothers, save your receipts. Better yet, don't just save your own receipts -- ask your friends and relatives to save theirs, too! Send them to the school weekly and Apples for the Students volunteers at the school will do the rest.

If you can, please participate in this effort to help enhance the educational environment at our school through the Lawrence Brothers Apples for the Students program.

Giving Thanks!

 A million times...  Thanks! Thank you to all the hard work for those that helped put together a very successful Fall Fun Fest. Not only were there loads of smiling faces but we raised around $9000 dollars for Nob Hill. All the staff, parents and students can be proud of this event and thankful of the support our community has shown.

Just in time for Thanksgiving! Nob Hill does a Thanksgiving lunch for students and their parents every year. This years lunch will be on Thursday November 15th. We need about 12 parent volunteers to help out with this. We will have a meeting next Thursday November 8th at 5:30 and we would love to see you there.

The Nob Hill PAC Fall Fun Fest Committee will be meeting on October 25th at Nob Hill to finish the hard work of getting ready for the Fall Fun Fest fund raiser.  All parents and community members are welcome to help make this a successful year. It is the 30th anniversary of the Fun Fest so come help with this wonderful tradition. The meeting starts at 5:30 pm at Nob Hill.
